Francis Eugene Frank Woods

Mr. Francis 'Frank'? Eugene Woods, age 85, of Jonesborough, went to be with the Lord on Monday, March 18, 2013, after a lengthy illness. Mr. Woods was a native of Carter County. He was the son of the late Sam Clingman Woods and Bessie Leona Phillips Woods. In addition to his parents his loving wife of sixty-three years, Leota Taylor Woods; two brothers, James Woods and Joe Woods; four sisters; one grandchild also preceded him in death. Mr. Woods was a machine operator for Klopman Mills for twenty-five years. He was a devoted member, Deacon and Elder of College Park Freewill Baptist Church. Survivors include three daughters, Shirley Moody and her husband Michael, Laura Woods and Janet Saylor and her husband Robert; two sons, Gary Woods and his wife Sharon and Barry Woods; five grandchildren, Karen Moody, Michele Arrowood, Wendy Whitson, Kara Woods, Timothy Bailey; seven great grandchildren. In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the College Park Freewill Baptist Church, Johnson City. The graveside service for Mr. Francis 'Frank'? Eugene Woods will be conducted at 12:15 PM Wednesday, March 20, 2013, in the Monte Vista Memorial Park. Rev. Matthew Guy will officiate. Active pallbearers will be selected from family and friends. The family will receive friends from 10 AM to 12 PM Wednesday prior to the service.
