Frank G. Lee, Jr.

Frank G. Lee, Jr., 82, died in his home in Burke, Virginia on the afternoon of August 30, 2006. Mr. Lee was a lifelong resident of Johnson City, and was the husband of Martha Wexler Lee, who preceded him in death in 2005. Mr. amd Mrs. Lee were married for more than 50 years, and had been the owners of the Ladybug Gallery Frame Shop in Johnson City for over ten years when they retired in 1991. Mr. Lee was a skilled and expert artisan creating fine pieces of furniture and woodwork. He began this work as a hobby at a young age. He worked in the soft drink bottling industry for many years before turning to woodworking and picture framing as a profession. Mr. Lee and his wife had been lifelong active members of First United Methodist Church. Mr. Lee is survived by his daughter, Harriett Ellen Belfi, and her husband, Charles Belfi of Virginia Beach, Virginia, one son, F. Gordon Lee and his wife, Deborah J. Lee of Fairfax, Virginia, five grandchildren, Matthew and Aaron Woodward, Garrett, Jamie and Carrie Lee, and one sister, Mildred Exum of Virginia Beach, Virginia The family will receive friends at Morris-Baker Funeral Home on Saturday, September 2, 2006 from 10:30 AM until 12 Noon. A graveside service will immediately follow at Monte Vista Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to First Methodist Church, 900 Spring Street, Johnson City, TN 37604.
