Gary E. Miller

Gary E. Miller, 50, 1909 Indian Ridge Road, died Sunday, August 14, 2005, at the Johnson City Medical Center. Mr. Miller was a native of Carter County and had lived in Johnson City for the past 8 years. He was a son of Nancy Catherine Grindstaff Pendlebury, Elizabethton, and the late J.B. Miller. Mr. Miller was a self-employed carpenter. Survivors, in addition to his mother, include his wife, Sharon Barry Miller; his stepfather, Robert Pendlebury, Elizabethton; three sons, Ben Miller and Andy Miller, both of Jonesborough, and Fred Higgins Jr., Johnson City; three daughters, Nichole Miller, Blountville, Desiree Miller Raynor, Limestone, and Kelly Rouse, Jonesborough; three brothers, Rick Miller, Bristol, TN, Tim Pendlebury, Elizabethton, and Ashley Miller, Clinton, TN; two sisters, Brenda Easterly, Kingsport, and Vicky Miller, Navarone, OH; eight grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. A funeral service for Mr. Miller will be conducted at 8 PM Tuesday from the Morris-Baker Funeral Home South Chapel. Reverend Bill Ferguson will officiate. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday at Ensor Cemetery in the Stoney Creek Community of Carter County. Family and friends will meet at the funeral home at 10:00 AM and travel in procession to the cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM Tuesday at the funeral home.
