Gary Glenn Flowers, 46 of Kingsport, TN passed away on Friday, October 12, 2012 in the Indian Path Medical Center in Kingsport.He was a native of Natchez, MS and a son of the late G. T. and Pearl C. Hardin Flowers. Gary was a field Engineer for G E Healthcare before becoming disabled. He was of the Baptist faith. He was a veteran of the U. S. Navy where he was a Nuclear Electrician/Submariner. He received special recognition by earning the Navy Achievement Medal. Survivors include; two daughters, Sarah and Aimee Flowers both of Gray; one sister, Charlotte Smith and her husband Eddie of Decatur, MS; two brothers, Elwin Flowers of Natchez, MS and his twin brother, Larry Flowers and his wife, Daisy of Port St. Lucie, FL; ex-wife, Becky Flowers of Gray; a special friend, Wendi Shipley of Gray and three nieces and one nephew. Funeral services will be conducted at 7:00 pm Monday, October 15, 2012 from the Morris-Baker South Chapel. Pastor Greg Lovelace will officiate. Burial services will be conducted at 2:00 pm Tuesday from Mt. Home National Cemetery. The family and friends will meet at the funeral home and leave in procession for the cemetery at 1:30 pm on Tuesday. Pallbearers will be Larry Flowers, Wendell Shipley, James Lynch and Alex Whistine. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 until 7:00pm on Monday.
