October 18, 1934 — February 4, 2006

Gerald 'Gerry' Crocka, passed away suddenly in Gray, Tennessee at his residence at age 71. He is Survived by his mother, Beulah Wing of Sodus, NY; a sister, Doris Youngman of Rochester, NY; a brother, William (& Beverly) Wing of Sodus, NY; a sister, Irma (& Ken) Shriver; nieces, Diane Giambrone of Queensbury, NY, Doreen (& Jeff) Riales, of Rochester, NY, Donna (& John) Altmire of Farmington, NY; nephew, David (& Karen) Youngman of Rochester, NY and was preceded in death by his son, Kyle Crocka. Gerry was born in Lyons, NY and graduated from Sodus High School in 1953. He served in the Marine Corps from 1953 to 1956 as a radio telegraph operator, attaining the rank of Sergeant. He received the United Nations Service Medal, the Korean Service Medal and Good Conduct Medal. Gerry was retired from Siemens Corporation, where he worked as a communications engineer. Gerry was an active member of Our Savior Lutheran Church, and an avid builder/collector of model train sets and remote control airplanes. Memorial services will be conducted at Our Savior Lutheran Church, 212 Sunset Drive, Johnson City, TN, on Thursday, February 23, 2006 at 4:00 p.m. Online condolences are available at www.morrisbaker.com.
