Graham Eugene Mcmurtry

Graham Eugene McMurtry, 67, Johnson City, died Wednesday, March 23, 2005, at the Johnson City Medical Center. Mr. McMurtry was a native and lifelong resident of Johnson City and a US Navy veteran. He was a son of the late James Baine and Pauline Mustard McMurtry. Mr. McMurtry was a retired Production Supervisor and a former employee of Pharmaseal Company, General Metal Fabricators and ITT Albert Tibis Company in Culpeper, VA. He was a member of Roan Hill Baptist Church. Mr. McMurtry is survived by his wife, Katherine Sutphin McMurtry; two sons, James Wade McMurtry and his wife, April, Johnson City, and Ricky McMurtry, Jonesborough; one granddaughter, Alexis McMurtry, Johnson City; one sister, Christine Tranbarger, Johnson City; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. The McMurtry family will receive friends from 6-8 PM Friday at the funeral home. A private graveside service is planned at Monte Vista Memorial Gardens.
