Haley Jade Stines

Haley Jade Stines, 9, Elizabethton, passed away Monday, February 8, 2021 at Niswonger Children’s Hospital following a life-long battle with asthma.

She was born in Johnson City on September 10, 2011, to Danny and Andi Warren Stines.

Haley was in 3rd grade. She really enjoyed her homeschooling and reading. Haley especially loved to draw. She also enjoyed painting nails and doing hair, whether it be her own or someone else’s. Haley will forever be daddy’s little princess.

Haley was preceded in death by: great grandparents, Charles Warren, James Johnson, J.T. Hughes and Charles Stines; and one uncle, Cody Hughes.

In addition to her parents, Haley is survived by: her sister and brother, Chloe and James; grandparents, Carla Bailey (Bobby), Danny Stines, Sr. (Shannon Holtzclaw) and Kimberly Ray (Chris Copas); great grandparents, Dorothy Warren, Norma Stines and Katie Kiser (Mike); aunts and uncles, Lisa Booher (Tim), Kristina Stines, Latasha Presley, Rebecca Presley, Charles Warren, Jr., Alyssa Ray, Alex Ray, Dalton Stines and her baby uncle, Aaron Ray; special cousins, Franna Blackburn (Jacob Street), Spencer Blackburn (Brooke), Nevaeh Stines, Kane Blackburn and many more cousins.

The family wishes to thank Haley’s doctor, Dr. Diana Rienhardt, for the care she provided to Haley.

The family of Haley Stines will receive friends from 12 PM until 1 PM Friday, February 12, 2021 at Morris-Baker. The funeral will follow at 1 PM with Pastor Jason Payne officiating. A private committal service will follow. Pallbearers include: Spencer Blackburn, Danny Stines, Jr., Danny Stines, Sr., Charles Warren, Jr., Alex Ray and Bobby Bailey.
