Harry Burton Alison

Mr. Harry 'Burton'? Alison, age 73 of Piney Flats, passed away Sunday, April 29, 2012, at his residence. Mr. Alison was a native and lifelong resident of Piney Flats. He was the son of the late Joseph 'Ed'? Alison and Mary Range Alison. Mr. Alison was owner and operator of Alison Greenhouse and Farm. He was a U.S. Army veteran. He graduated from ETSU with a B.S. in Industrial Arts. He was a member of New Bethel Presbyterian Church in Piney Flats. Survivors include one brother, Dr. Harold Alison and his wife Judaun of Piney Flats; five nieces, Amanda Wilson, Mary Caitlin Alison, Rachel Alison, Rebekah Alison and Alexa Wilson. The funeral service for Mr. Harry 'Burton'? Alison will be conducted at 3 PM Friday, May 4, 2012, in the New Bethel Presbyterian Church. Pastor Larry Stallard will officiate. The graveside committal service will follow in the New Bethel Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Dean Torbett, Wayne Torbett, Dave Tester, Ronnie Martin, Donnie King, Robert McKee, Jim Sell, Robert Morris, and Steve King. The family will receive friends from 2 to 3 PM Friday at the church prior to the service.
