Harry Lynn Greer, Sr.

Harry Lynn Greer, Sr., 56, 214 Rockhouse Road, died Wednesday, August 23, 2006 at the Johnson City Medical Center. Mr. Greer was a native of Carter County and a lifelong resident of Johnson City. He was a son of the late Wiley and Elva Triplet Greer and was preceded in death by three brothers and one sister. Mr. Greer was a truck driver. Mr. Greer was survived by his wife, Mary Greer; two daughters, Leslie Greer, of the home and Angel Horn, NC; one son, Harry Greer, Jr., of the home; one step-son, James Callaway, Johnson City; one sister, Gladys Blackburn, Johnson City; four brothers, Orville Greer, Elizabethton, Herbert Greer, Johnson City, Tom Greer, Bristol, TN and Richard Greer, Jonesborough; five grandchildren, Zoey Greer, Dustin Horn, Danielle Horn, Nikki Horn and Jessie Callaway and several nieces and nephews. A graveside service for Mr. Greer will be held at 2 PM Saturday, August 26, 2006 at Lyons Cemetery, Carter County. Pastor Gary Rowlett will officiate. Family and friends are asked to assemble at the cemetery. Pallbearers will be selected from family and friends. .
