Hazel D. Little

Hazel D. Little, 79, 280 Mosier Road, went to be with the Lord, Tuesday, April 24, 2007 at her residence. Mrs. Little was a native of Roan Mountain and had lived in Johnson City most of her life. She was a daughter of the late Jesse J. and Teenie Payne Stanley. Mrs. Little was preceded in death by three brothers, Geter Stanley, Thurman Stanley and Gentry Stanley and three sisters, Virgie Ashenfelter, Pauline Wright and Ethel Mockley. She was a member of Tacoma Church of God. Survivors include her husband of sixty two years, Ray W. Little; two brothers, Billy Ray Stanley, Elizabethton and J. D. Stanley, Elizabethton; two sisters, Wilma Stanley, Johnson City and Lillian Jeannette Ford, Elizabethton and several nieces and nephews. A funeral service for Mrs. Little will be conducted at 3 PM Thursday, April 26, 2007 from the Morris-Baker Funeral Home South Chapel. Reverend Wayne Absher will officiate. Graveside services will follow at Happy Valley Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be selected from family members. The family will receive friends from 1-3 PM Thursday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to Tacoma Church of God, 1005 John Exum Parkway, Johnson City, TN 37604 or the American Cancer Society, 508 Princeton Road, Johnson City, TN 37601. The family expresses special thanks to the Medical Center Hospice.
