Helen Mae Foster

December 24, 1924 — April 5, 2007

Helen M. Foster, 82, 2314 Westwood Street, passed away unexpectedly, Thursday, April 5, 2007 at the Johnson City Medical Center. Mrs. Foster was a Unicoi County native and had lived in Johnson City most of her life. She was a daughter of the late R.W. Stockton and Polly Higgins Stockton. Mrs. Foster was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband Clinton Foster and five brothers and sisters. Mrs. Foster was a member of Central Baptist Church. She was a beloved sister, mother, aunt and most of all a dear, kind, and beloved friend. Mrs. Foster loved children, her friends, her church and flowers-She was goodness. Survivors include one daughter, Sherie Miner and her husband, Cory, Galveston, TX; three sons, Larry Foster, Galveston, TX, Kenneth Foster and his wife, Michelle, Mohawk, TN and Bobby Foster and his wife, Diane, Johnson City; a sister, Stella McCracken, Johnson City; seven grandchildren, three great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and a host of friends. A memorial service for Mrs. Foster will be conducted at 7 PM Monday, April 9, 2007 from the Morris-Baker Funeral Home South Chapel. Dr. Ronald Murray will officiate. The family will receive friends from 5-7 PM Monday at the funeral home.
