Hulin Arlen Huey Harmon, Jr

November 11, 1953 — January 24, 2006

Hulin Arlen (Huey) Harmon, Jr., 'King of The Creek', age 52 of Gray, died Tuesday, January 24 as a result of injuries sustained in a car accident. He was a native of Bradshaw, West Virginia and moved to Tennessee in 1970. He lived for some time in Tazewell, Virginia and worked in the coal mines for several years. He owned and operated Harmon?s Fencing Company. He was preceded in death by his father, Hulin A. Harmon, Sr and grandparents Margaret and William Deel and Fanny and Mathias Harmon. Survivors include his mother, Versa Harmon; two sons Hulin Harmon III, Boones Creek and Josh Harmon, Maryland; two daughters, Kandy Patterson, Gray and Charity Harmon, Elizabethton; four sisters, Janice Duncan, Boones Creek, Sharron Whaley and her husband, Kenneth, Boones Creek, Sandra Kelly and her husband, Jim, Boones Creek, Shelia Johnson and her husband, Kenneth, Gray; eight grandchildren, Cassie Patterson, Christopher Harmon, Shyne Harmon, Heaven Harmon, Elijah Harmon, Alyssa Harmon, Haley Farson and Serinty Harmon and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive guests from 6-8 PM Sunday, January 29, 2006 at the funeral home. Honorary pallbearers will be Randy Rose, Tony Kelly, David Gentry, Wally Eanes, Glen Rose, John Adams, Carl Ferguson, Mike Rose and William Patterson.
