Ina Margaret Young

Ina Margaret Willis Young, passed away on Thursday, January 6, 2011 at the Johnson City Medical Center. She was born in Washington County, Tennessee, on July 28, 1930, the only daughter of the late BW Bige Willis and Annie Treadway Willis. She was also preceded in death by brother, W.T. and Billie Joe Willis. She was a graduate of the Crossmore School in North Carolina and was a housemother to the younger girls there. This was one of the highlights of her life. She was the co-owner of Westside Paint and later worked for Easter Seals. She was a most generous and giving person. She was especially found of her pets and all animals. She is survived by her husband of almost 50 years, Larry Dale Young; one brother, Calvin C. 'Bud'? Willis and wife Janet; sister-in-law, Marie Willis, Shirley Willis, Lennis Young Conduff and husband Gene; nieces, Susan Willis, Anne W. Patrick and special niece Lydia Margaret Watts; nephews, John, Ralph, Joey, Mark, Wesley, and Blaine Willis; special cousins, Linda and Susan Brown and Ruth Willis; special long life friend, Betty L. Grindstaff; and fifteen great nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends Monday evening, January 10, 2011 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm in the Morris-Baker Funeral Home South Chapel or any other time at the home of C.C. Bud Willis. The funeral service will follow at 8:00 pm in the Morris-Baker Funeral Home South Chapel with Arnold 'Bud'? Pate and C. Wesley Willis officiating. Music will be provided by Emily Willis. A graveside service will be held at 10:30 am Tuesday, January 11, 2011 in the Monte Vista Memorial Park. A funeral procession will leave the funeral home at 10:20 am. Pallbearers will be Wesley Willis, Daniel Willis, James Willis, Ralph Willis, Dennis Mull, Clinton Patrick, Blaine Willis, and Mike Bulla. Honorary pallbearers will be John Willis, Bobby Shanks, T.J. Sparks, Jim Sanders, Phil Clark, and Gene Conduff. Memorial contributions may be made to the Washington County/Johnson City Animal Shelter, 525 Sells Avenue, Johnson City, Tn. 37604.
