Irene Street

Irene Street, 72, of 2002 Patterson Park Drive, Lawrenceville, Ga. died Saturday, September 6, 2008 in the Emory Eastside Medical Center in Snellville, GA. Mrs. Street was a native of Dickerson County, VA and was a daughter of the late Mack and Hattie Mae Jones Davis. She was a kitchen prep worker in a deli in Georgia. She attended the Crossroad Baptist Church in Braselton, GA. Mrs. Street is preceded in death by her husband, Bill D. Street in May of 2007. Survivors include: one daughter, Darlene L. Street of Lawrenceville, GA.; one son, Charles L. Street of Lawrenceville, GA; two brothers, Bob Davis of Elizabethton and Jack Davis of West Virginia; two sisters, Bertha Mae Davis of Elizabethton and Alice Lyon of Bluff City; several nieces and nephews also survive. A graveside funeral service for Irene Street will be conducted at 1 PM Thursday, September 11, 2008 in the Mountain Home National Cemetery. Rev. Delbert Storie will officiate. Everyone will meet at Morris-Baker at 12:30 PM Thursday to proceed to the cemetery for the service. Active pallbearers will be selected.
