Iris Sue Talley

Iris 'Sue' Mahan Talley, age 77, of 1809 Sundale Road, Johnson City, died Friday, October 21, 2005 at her residence. She was a native of Morristown and lived there during her youth. She was the daughter of the late Clyde J. Mahan and Cora Greene Mahan. Mrs. Talley had lived in Johnson City since 1973. Mrs. Talley was formerly employed by Lynn Sheeley Piano Company, Ford Shoes and more recently owned Talley?s Antiques. She was a member of Skyline Heights Baptist Church. Mrs. Talley is survived by her husband Olen A. Talley, a daughter, Pat Talley and a son Michael O. Talley, all of Johnson City; a sister Faye Shelnutt of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and several nieces and nephews. Two brothers preceded Mrs. Talley in death. Graveside services for Mrs. Talley will be held Monday, October 24th at 11:00 AM in Hamblen Memory Gardens near Morristown. Rev. Ken Kyker and Rev. Donald Page will officiate. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 2:00 until 4:00 PM on Sunday October 23rd. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, friends contribute to either the Arthritis Foundation, P.O.
