Jacob Alan Mitchell, 2, of 309 North Road, Johnson City died Sunday, January 11, 2009 in Johnson City. Jacob was born in Johnson City on June 10, 2006 and was a son of Christopher Alan and Heather Nicole White Mitchell Survivors other than his parents include: a soon to arrive brother, Mason Lee Mitchell; the Maternal Grand Parents, Russell and Sandy White of Gray; the Paternal Grand Parents, Allen and Teresa Buchanan of Johnson City; three aunts, Audra McKee and April Smitley, both Johnson City and Shelly Devereaux of Piney Flats; Five uncles, Shanon Buchanan of Kingsport, Brian White, Freddie Hill, Jarrett McKee, and Mickey Fisher, all of Johnson City; the Maternal Great Grandmother, Norma Newton of Johnson City; two Great Uncles And Aunts, Matt and Tonya Newton of Greeneville, Marc and Kim Newton of Cornelius, NC; five cousins, ChiChi, Collin, Jayden, Abby and Halie. The funeral service for Jacob Alan Mitchell will be conducted at 8 PM Friday, January 16, 2009 in the Morris-Baker South Chapel. Rev. Virgil Bennett will officiate. The committal service will be conducted at 1 PM Saturday, in the Gobble Cemetery. Everyone will meet at 12:30 PM Saturday at Morris-Baker to go in procession. Active pallbearers will be Russell White, Micky Fisher, Bill Profitt and Freddie HillThe family will receive friends at Morris-Baker from 6 to 8 PM Friday.
