James S. Jimmy Heaton

James “Jimmy” S. Heaton, 78, Gray, passed away Sunday, April 21, 2019, at Life Care Center of Gray.
Jimmy was born on August 25, 1940, in Johnson City, to the late France and Martha Buchanan Heaton.
Jimmy was of the Baptist faith. He retired from Benjamin Moore Paint in Chicago, IL.
In addition to his parents, Jimmy was preceded in death by: two sisters, Grace Troxwell and Christine Dove; and six brothers, Bill, Lon, Carl, Paul, Lee and Patrick Heaton.
Survivors include: one sister, Nell Feathers; two daughters, Donna and Sandra Heaton; and many nieces and nephews.
Special thank you to Life Care Center of Gray, Caris Hospice and the many nurses and doctors that attended to Jimmy over the years.
The family of Jimmy Heaton will receive friends from 12 PM until 1 PM Thursday, April 25, 2019, at Morris-Baker. A committal service will follow at 1:15 PM at Monte Vista Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be selected from family and friends.
