James Wesley Wright

James Wesley Wright, 62, of Johnson City died Wednesday, May 29, 2019 at Durham-Hensley Nursing Home in Chuckey. He was a native of Elizabethton, son of the late Neal J. and Helen Horne Wright.
James was a retired meat cutter who worked for Food Lion.
He was former minister in the Free Will Baptist Church. Wesley was raised in the Free Will Baptist Church as his father and grandfather were also ministers.
In addition to his parents a son, James Wesley Wright, II had preceded him in death.
Survivors include a son, Adam Wright, five brothers, Michael Neal Wright, Charles L. Wright, Simon Wright, Johnny Joe Wright and Terry Allen Wright; a sister, Teresa Helen Pierce; three grandchildren, Casey Cameron Wright, Kia Marie Wright and Dakota Lee Wright; several nieces and nephews.
James Wesley Wright is to be cremated and no services are scheduled at this time.
