Jamie Parks

Jamie Brown Parks, 57, of Johnson City, passed away on Tuesday, July 16, 2019, at the Johnson City Medical Center.
She was a native of Johnson City, the only child of the late Ralph Brown Jr. and Lois Patterson Brown.
Jamie was a member of Faith Fellowship church.
She loved her animals and spending time cooking. She was known for being the family event planner, coordinating get-togethers and keeping everyone in-the-know. This extended to her presence online, where Jamie always tried to stay connected through her social media accounts.
She is survived by her husband, Jimmy Parks Jr.; loving companion, Gidget; close aunts, Sharon and Charlotte, as well as several other aunts and uncles; many nieces and nephews; and a special brother.
A graveside service is scheduled for Sunday, July 21, 2019 at 11:00 am in the Monte Vista Memorial Park under the direction of Dr. Booney Crawford. Family and friends are asked to assemble by 10:50 am at the cemetery.
