Janice Lynn Wilson

Janice L. Wilson, 75, 912 Echo Lane, Johnson City, died Thursday, March 1, 2007 at her residence. Mrs. Wilson was a native of Akron, Ohio who had lived in the Los Angeles area for many years and had lived in Johnson City since 1994. She was the daughter of the late Julius Mannick and Letitia Van Horn Mannick. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by one sister and two brothers. She was a loving homemaker, wife, and mother to her three children. When her children were of school age she managed the school cafeteria?s to 'keep an eye on them'. Mrs. Wilson was a member of the Southwestern Baptist Church. Survivors include: her loving husband of forty three years David W. Wilson; one daughter, Kimberly A. Wilson, of Johnson City; two sons, David Wilson and his wife Vicki, of Gray and Joseph Wilson and his wife Lilian, of Temecula, California.; one sister, Doreen Davis, of Spokane Valley, Washington; one brother, William Mannick, of Norman Oklahoma; four grandchildren and one niece. The funeral service for Janice L. Wilson will be conducted at 12 noon Monday, March 5, 2007 at the Southwestern Baptist Church. Pastor Johnny Jones will officiate. The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until time of service at noon. The graveside service will be conducted at 1:00 PM in the Mountain Home National Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be selected from family and friends. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Southwestern Baptist Church Benevolence Fund, 1112 Cherokee Road, Johnson City, TN 37604.
