Jeanette Tipton Myers

September 30, 1952 — November 27, 2022

Jeanette Tipton Myers, 70, of Bluff City, passed away on Sunday, November 27, 2022.


She was a lifelong resident of Washington County, daughter of the late Bernie and Bernice Jones Tipton.


Mrs. Myers had earned her Bachelor’s in Theology and Master’s in Divinity. She was a member of Victory Baptist Church in Roan Mountain.


In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, William “Dee” Myers, and two brothers, Lawrence Tipton and Bobby Tipton.


She is survived by her son, Jeffrey Tipton; siblings, Dianne Turbyfill, Linda Morris, Larry Tipton, Maxine Lewis, Sherry Self, Janice Whitlock, Calvin Tipton, Lawanda Harrison, Judy Maness, Cindy Snyder, Michael Tipton, and brother-in-law Johnny Myers; special caregivers, Chris and Amy Engelman; as well as many nieces and nephews.


A committal service will be held at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, November 30, 2022, at Mountain Home National Cemetery. Those attending are asked to gather at the cemetery gates by 12:50 PM to go in procession to the committal shelter.


In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Haven of Rest Rescue Mission, 624 Anderson Street, Bristol, TN 37620.
