Jenny Ursula Babbit

Jenny Ursula Babbit, 86, formerly of Pittsburgh, PA, passed away Monday, May 22, 2006 at Lakebridge Healthcare in Johnson City, TN following a lengthy illness. A native of Pittsburgh, she was the daughter of the late Constantine and Helen (Rosochocka) Borkowski. She retired from Young Men & Women?s Hebrew Association in 1977. Mrs. Babbit loved traveling, canning, gardening, and especially the telling of jokes. Her jokes were sure to put a smile on everyone?s face. The smiles and jokes will be missed by all who knew her. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three husbands, Paul Hill in 1953, James Anderson and Stanley Babbit in 2002, a son, Kenny Hill and all three of her brothers, Anthony Borkowski, Raymond Borkowski and Edward Borkowski. Mrs. Babbitt is survived by three children, Helen Rayburg of Cheswick, PA, Daniel Hill of Swansea, MA, and Barbara Shaw of Jonesborough, TN. Six grandchildren and five great grandchildren also survive. A private Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Mrs. Babbit?s request.
