Jerry Lee Riddle

Jerry Lee Riddle, 63, of Johnson City, passed away on Thursday, June 16, 2011 at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Jerry was born January 10, 1948 in Johnson City to Coleman and Nellie Branch Riddle. He was a veteran of the United States Army and served two tours in Vietnam. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one brother, Gary Riddle, and three sisters, Marie Scalf, Faye Depew and Susie Booth. Jerry was a loving and wonderful husband, father and grandfgather who loved fishing, hunting and racing. He loved helping others. Survivors include; his wife, Geneva Osborne Riddle; children, Michelle and Sherry Riddle (Tony Venable), Wayne (Lora) Tipton, Vicky (Rocky) Hamaker and Randy (Missy) Hicks; Grandchildren Tamara and Devin Hamaker, Bridgett Tipton, Alyssa Mcray and Dylan and Dalton Hicks; Great Grandson, Skilar Hamaker; Good Friends, R. M. Guinn, Mark and Jeffrey Honeycutt and several nieces and nephews. The family would like to extend a special thanks to the I. C. U. Staff at the V. A. Hospital. Memorial services will be conducted at 8:00 pm Saturday, June 18, 2011 from the Morris-Baker South Chapel. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6:00 until 8:00 pm on Saturday. Mr. Riddles wishes were to be cremated and a burial service will be announced later. .
