Jerry Lynn Arwood

Jerry Lynn Arwood, 59 of Johnson City, passed away on Sunday, October 3, 2010 at the Johnson City Medical Center.He was a native and lifelong resident of Washington County. Mr. Arwood was a son of the late, Edwin E. and Carmen Saylor Arwood. He was also preceded by one brother, Eddie Arwood.Mr. Arwood was of the Christian faith. Mr. Arwood served in the U. S. Army National Guard for 27 years. Survivors include; two sons, Michael L. Arwood, Sr. of Hutchinson, KS and Brian A. Arwood of Colorado Springs, CO; two Grandsons, Michael L. Arwood, Jr. and Steven A. Arwood both of Broken Arrow, OK; two step-Grandchildren, Josh and Ashley Paup of CO; one sister, Linda Humphreys of Jonesborough, several nephews.Graveside services will be conducted Wednesday, October 6, 2010 at 1:00pm from the Monte Vista Memorial Park. Pastor Dewey Ward will officiate. Burial will follow the service. Pallbearers will be Family and friends and the following special friends, Garey Johnson, Dwight Scott and Johnny Utsman. Family and friends will meet at the cemetery.
