Jerry Wayne Scalf

Mr. Jerry Wayne Scalf, 52, Jonesborough, joined our heavenly father on Wednesday, May 12, 2010 in the James H. Quillen V.A. Medical Center after suffering a heart attack. Mr. Scalf was the son of the late Robert Earl Scalf and Wilma Barnett Scalf. In addition to his parents one brother, Billy Joe Scalf also preceded him in death. He was a U.S. Navy veteran. Mr. Scalf was owner and operator of S&S Security and was of the Baptist faith. He was loved by all and will be greatly missed. Survivors include: his wife, Susan Scalf of the home; two sons, Billy J. Scalf and Jeremy W. Scalf; one brother, David Scalf. The graveside service for Mr. Jerry Wayne Scalf will be conducted at 2 PM Wednesday, May 19, 2010 in the Mountain Home National Cemetery. Rev. Bob Edmonds will officiate. Active pallbearers will be selected from family and friends. The family will receive friends at Morris-Baker from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM prior to the service.
