2 Timothy 4:7-8 I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day '? and not only to me, but also to all who have longed for his appearing. Jeter Campbell, 93, of Johnson City passed away Monday, January 27, 2014 at the Franklin Woods Community Hospital. He was the son of the late Lace Campbell and Bonnie Street Crane. He served in the United States Air Force from 1942 '? 1945. During his time in the Air Force he enjoyed traveling to many places. He loved reading, bowling, western movies and spending time with his grandson. He is survived by: one daughter, Sandy Campbell (Roger Bishop) of Johnson City, Tennessee; one grandson, Marshall Scism of Johnson City, Tennessee; beloved pets, Sparky and Miss Kitty and a host of family and friends. The family of Jeter Campbell will receive friends from 5:00pm '? 7:00pm on Thursday, January 30, 2014 at the Morris Baker Funeral Home (South Chapel). Funeral service will begin immediately following the visitation on Thursday beginning at 7:00pm. Family and friends will gather at Morris Baker Funeral Home on Friday by 10:45am to drive in procession to Monte Vista Memorial Park. Military Rites will be conducted at Graveside during committal service beginning at 11:00am. The family of Jeter Campbell would like to 'Thank' the staff of the Franklin Woods Community Hospital for the kind and wonderful care they give to Mr. Campbell.
