Mr. Johnny W. Mack, 58, Erwin Health Care Center, 100 Stalling Lane, Erwin passed away Tuesday November 2, 2010 in the Johnson City Medical Center. Mr. Mack was a native of Greenwood, South Carolina. He was the son of the late Vennie Mack, Sr. and Cleo Webb Mack. Johnny Mack lived in East Tenn the past 12 years and was a resident of Erwin Health Care. He was loved by all who knew him and will be remembered for his funny sense of humor and his happy spirit. Mr Mack was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He loved to visit with his family and many friends. Before Johnny was injured, he was a welder by trade; and a talented musican and artist. His gifts of music and art will be carried on through his talented children and grandchildren. Johnny always loved to attend church, sing and worship God and was a blessing to all who knew him. Mr. Mack was a US Navy veteran and a member of the Praise and Truth United Pentecostal Church. Survivors include: his wife of thirty-five years Linda Mack of Johnson City; two sons, Jason Mack of Lexington, South Carolina and Daniel Mack and his wife Marian of Columbia, South Carolina; two daughters, Sherri Holmberg and her husband Peter of Bethel, Connecticut and Regina Wolf and her husband Mike of Winnsboro, South Carolina; two brothers, Vennie 'Buddy: Mack, Jr and his wife Brenda of Columbia, South Carolina and Jessie Michael Mack of Lakeland, Florida; six grandchildren, Alexandria Mack, Jordan Mack, Devon Mack, Alana Mack, Jessica Roscetti and Hunter Ballenger. The family would like to thank Erwin Health Care Center for the good care while Mr. Mack lived there and the Johnson City Medical Center nursing and Doctors staff on the Cardio unit for the good care and compassion during his recent illness. In lieu of flowers the family request the memorial contributions be made to the Brain Injury Association of America, Inc. Mack will be conducted at 4:30 PM Friday November 5, 2010 in the Praise and Truth United Pentecostal Church. Pastor Calvin Grimm will officiate.
