Judy Miller

Judy Carolyn Hyder Miller, 73, of Johnson City, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 22, 2021, at her residence.

She was a native of Johnson City, and the daughter of the late Blanche P. Cecil and Fred Hyder, Jr.

Judy retired from the VA Medical Center in Johnson City after 20 years of caring service to the veterans that she loved.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by: grandparents, Ike and Rozella Phillips, Ethel and Fred Hyder; brother, Butch Hyder; and beloved Nephew, David Thomas “Tommy” Williams.

Those surviving include: daughter, Amanda Miller; sons, Michael Miller and wife Tina, Brian Miller and wife Sheila; grandchildren, Aubrianne “Aubrey” Grindstaff, Nathan Grindstaff, Landon Grindstaff, Megan Miller, Jacob Miller, and Zach Miller, Kaylee Miller; sisters, Patty Grove and husband Wayne, Freddie Williams and husband Tom; sister-in-law, Mitzi Hyder; great grandchildren, Allison Grace Grindstaff and Antonio Capri Morun; as well as many cherished cousins, nieces and nephews.
