Karen Evelyn Bailey

Karen Evelyn Bailey, of Winston - Salem, NC, formerly of Johnson City, TN, died unexpectedly August 17, 2005 at the Forsythe Medical Center. Karen was a human resource manager for Amerisource Inc. for more than 15 years, retired to Myrtle Beach, SC, then found a challenge in Winston - Salem, NC and has been the editor and publisher for a travel newspaper 'Tennessee On My Mind' for the last few years. Karen was the daughter of Dora L. and the late Harold F. Bailey of Johnson City, TN. In addition to her mother, survivors include: Bill Ragsdale, of the home; three daughters, Angela Wolfe, her husband Pat and their children Thomas and Amber, all of Christiansburg, VA, Nicole Burnett, and her son Bailey, both of Johnson City, and Melissa Burnett, of Johnson City; one sister, Robin Bailey, of Myrtle Beach, SC, her son Nicholas, of Myrtle Beach, SC, and her daughter Mercedes, of Johnson City; three brothers Wayne Bailey, his wife Sherry and their daughter Caitlin Bailey, all of Johnson City, Jimmy Bailey, and his daughter Carley, both of Johnson City, and Tony Bailey, of Johnson City; and many other loving family members. Karen was a most beautiful Angel sent from God to brighten all our lives forever.
