Kathy D. Hill

Kathy D. Hill, 59, of Johnson City died Saturday, November 16, 2013 at her residence. She was a native of Johnson City, daughter of the late Frank Edward Green and Margaret Josephine Bates Caldwell. Kathy was a homemaker and member of the Fountain of Life Bible Church. In addition to her father, her brother Frank Green preceded her in death. Survivors including her mother are: six grandchildren, McKenzie, Buddy, Jr., Catherine, Matthew, Terry and Kameron; six children, Buddy Garland, Sr. and wife Christine of Gray, Jennifer Shelton and husband Jimmy, Dora Warren, Victoria Hill, Freddie Hill and Johnathan Hill all of Johnson City; her former husband, Freddie Hill, Jr. of Johnson City; 13 brothers and sisters, Joyce Perry, Barbara Dixon, Debbie Lesikar, Jenny Fox, Eddie Green, Rita Green, Pam Carr, Jackie Green, Sonia Green, Earl Green, Priscilla Green, Margaret Guinn and Melinda Clark; several nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be conducted on Wednesday, November 20, 2013 at 2:00 pm under the direction of Dr. C. Dwayne Baird. The family will receive friends from 12:00 pm until time of service at 2:00 pm. A committal service will be conducted at Monte Vista Memorial Park following the funeral service. Active pallbearers will be: Jimmy Shelton, Lee Smithpeters, George Perry, Frank Dunbar, Walt Adams, Charlie Green and Scott Holtsclaw.
