Kathy Parlier Wiseman

Kathy Parlier Wiseman, 59, Johnson City, passed away Saturday, September 13, 2014 in the Johnson City Medical Center. Kathy was born in Detroit, MI and was a daughter of the late Robert and Joyce Parlier. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Evelyn Parlier, and best friend, Judy Parlier. Kathy was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and sister. She was an avid musician, playing guitar and singing at many places in the area. She especially loved to sing and play for her family and friends. Kathy was devoted to her children, grandchildren, and family, and will be dearly missed by all who knew her. She is survived by: her husband of 30 years, Carl 'Bear' Wiseman, of the home; two daughters, Chrystal Wiseman, of the home, and Jessica Carter (Brandon), of Jonesborough; four grandchildren, Deseray Harrison, Lacy Powell, Logan Carter, and Victoria Wiseman; three brothers, James Parlier (Ayliffe), of Pennsylvania, Marvin Parlier, of Elizabethton, and Dave Parlier (Karen), of Elizabethton; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews. The family of Kathy Parlier Wiseman will receive friends from 1 pm until 3 pm Wednesday, September 17, 2014 in the Morris-Baker South Chapel. A memorial service will be conducted at 3 pm Wednesday in the South Chapel. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to: Carl Wiseman,2560 Plymouth Rd.
