Kay Michele King

December 17, 1957 — July 26, 2005

Kay Michele King, 47, 130 Wood Creek Lane, Fayetteville, GA, died July 26, 2005 at Atlanta Medical Center, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. Mrs. King was a native of New Orleans, LA, a former resident of Johnson City and had lived in Fayetteville for the past six years. She was a daughter of Eugene Orville Lockhart, Sr., Johnson City and the late Joan Mayes Lockhart. Mrs. King was a homemaker who enjoyed employing her talent in the field of interior decorating. She was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Fayetteville, GA. Survivors, in addition to her father include her husband, Jay E. King; two sons, Stephen King, Nathan King and one daughter, Allison King, all residing in Fayetteville, GA; two brothers, Eugene Lockhart, Jr. and his wife, Julie, Johnson City, Paul Lockhart, Johnson City; three sisters, Mary Ann McClain and her husband, Bronce, Winston Salem, NC, Linda Freeman and her husband Joe, Johnson City, Susan McCloud and her husband, Dan, Johnson City and several nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 AM Saturday, August 6, 2005 at St. Mary?s Catholic Church, Johnson City, TN. Father Gerard Finucane will be the celebrant. Graveside services will follow at Monte Vista Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM Friday at the funeral home. A Rosary service will follow the receiving of friends. Pallbearers will be Bronce McClain, IV, Nicholas Stinnett, E. Thomas Lockhart, Terry Rogers, Tyler McCoy, Michael Hickie, Jr., Patrick Flynn and Adam Haselsteiner. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to St. Mary?s Catholic Church, 2211 East Lakeview Drive, Johnson City, TN 37601.
