Keitha Ford Gruhot

Keitha Ford Gruhot, 77, 217 Cedar Grove Rd., Johnson City died Wednesday at her residence. Mrs. Gruhot was a native of Washington County. She was the daughter of the late Robert L. and Rosella Adams Ford. She was also preceded in death by three brothers, David Ford, Lee Ford and Charles Ford and one grandson, Ryan Mitchell. She was a Veteran of the U. S. Marine Corps having served during the Korean War . She was a former civil servant. Mrs. Gruhot was survived by her husband, Anton Peter Gruhot; one daughter, Rosemary Mitchell of Johnson City; one son, Pete Gruhot and his wife, Valerie of Jonesborough; two sisters, Janie Buchanan and Amanda McCollum both of Johnson City; two grandchildren, Shannon Milligan and Amanda Gruhot; two great grandchildren, Ivy Kate Milligan and Eliza Rose Milligan. Private graveside services will be conducted Friday, June 2, 2006, in the Washington County Memory Gardens. Active pallbearers will be Louis Persinger, Matthew Milligan, Conley Jones, and Dennis Bennett.
