Kenneth Edmund Boyle

October 15, 1935 — March 17, 2006

Kenneth Edmund Boyle, 70, of Johnson City, passed away on March 17, 2006 at the V. A. Medical Center Hospital. He was a native of Kansas City, Missouri but had lived in Johnson City since 1968. He was a 16 year veteran of the U. S. Marine Corp and served in Korea and Vietnam. He was retired from the Post Office where he had been a rural route carrier for Rt. #10 for 14 years. Mr. Boyle was preceded in death by his wife of 43 years, Viginia Showman Boyle. He was also preceded in death by his parents, George and Bonita Woods Boyle. Survivors include one daughter, Bonita Dalpiaz and her husband Jeff of Johnson City; one son, Kenneth D. Boyle; three grandchildren, Jacob Dalpiaz of Johnson City, Brendon Boyle and Collin Boyle, both of Pennsylvania; three sisters, Joan Orr of Spartanburg, SC, Joyce Foster of Kansas City, Kansas and Denise Moore of Iowa; three brothers, George A. Boyle, Jr., and Michael Boyle, both of Kansas City, Missouri and Gary Boyle of Japan; several nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be conducted on Saturday, March 25, 2006 from the Morris-Baker South Chapel at 4:00 PM. Entombment will be held in the Monte Vista Mausoleum. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 3:00 until 4:00 PM on Saturday.
