Kimberly Sue Greene, 28, 112 Johnson Lane, died Saturday, October 8, 2005, at Sycamore Shoals Hospital. Mrs. Greene was a native and lifelong resident of Johnson City. She was a daughter of William T. Collins Jr., Whiteville, TN, and Rita Faye Partin, Johnson City. Mrs. Greene was preceded in death by grandparents, Howard Nickels, Pauline Nickels and Bill Collins. She was an employee of Burger King. Mrs. Greene was a member of End Times Ministries Church. Survivors, in addition to her parents, include her husband, Carl David Greene, Johnson City; two daughters, Brittany Wise and Alisha Greene, both of Johnson City; one son, Carl David Greene III, Johnson City; two brothers, William T. Collins III and his wife, Allison, David Allen Collins and his wife, Cindy, all of Johnson City; two sisters, Rita Ward and her husband, Larry, Johnson City, and Crystal Rena Nixon and her husband, Randy, of NC; her step-father, John W. Partin, Johnson City; grandparents, Alice Collins and Thelma Partin; mother and father-in-law, Martha and Carl Greene; nieces and nephews, Billie Jean Ward, Elizabeth Ward, Makayla Collins, Krista Collins, Hannah Collins, Nate Collins, Faith Nixon and Randy Nixon Jr. A graveside service for Mrs. Greene will be conducted at 2 PM Saturday at Washington County Memory Gardens Mausoleum Chapel. Family, friends and pallbearers are asked to assemble at the cemetery. Pastor Steve Potter, Reverend Johnnie Nickels and Reverend Kim Casey will officiate. Pallbearers will be David Greene, William T. Collins III, David Allen Collins, Larry Ward, Bobby Joe Nickels, Randy Nixon, Thomas Wilson and Ronald Collins. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM Friday at the funeral home.
