Larry W. Haynes, Jr.,35, 175 E. Grand Ave, Unit 7, Johnson City died Wednesday, December 21, 2005 at Johnson City Medical Center. Mr. Haynes was a native of Abingdon, VA and had lived in Johnson City for the past ten years. He is a son of Larry W. Haynes, Sr. and Martha DeBord Haynes. Mr. Haynes performed light industrial work and was of the Church of God faith. Survivors other then his parents include ; two daughters, Madison Haynes of Bristol, VA and Ashlyn Haynes of Roanoke, VA; one brother, CPO Michael Haynes, U.S. Navy in Norfolk,VA; two sisters, MSGT April Brown, U.S. Air Force at Shaw AFB, South Carolina and Amber Haynes of the home; three nieces , two nephews, several aunts ,uncles, and cousins also survive. The funeral service for Larry W. Haynes, Jr. will be conducted at 8 PM Friday, December 23, 2005 in the Morris-Baker South Chapel. Rev. Benny Frye will officiate. Music will be by Mrs. Pam DeBord, solist. A service of entombment will be conducted at 1 PM Saturday in the mausoleum chapel at Monte Vista Memorial Park. Everyone will meet at the cemetery for this service. Active pallbearers will be Larry W. Haynes, Sr., CPO Michael Haynes, Darrell DeBord, Mike DeBord, Henry Riddle, Bo Hamaker, Bobby Stacy, and Dean Dishner. Honorary pallbearer will be Myral Clark. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM Friday in the funeral chapel prior to the service.
