The family agreed that he was always a very patient man who loved and always took care of them. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Linda K. Miller Potanko. He is survived by his wife, Barbara Honeycutt Miller; a son, Landon Young Miller and a daughter, Katie Alyse Miller, all of Piney Flats. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 until 8, prior to the service on Thursday. A private entombment service will be held at Monte Vista Memorial Park Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to either St. Judes Childrens Research Hospital, Memphis, TN 38018 or to the JCMC Ronald McDonald House, 418 North State of Franklin Road, Johnson City, TN 37604.
