Lawrence D. Bo Scott, Jr.

Lawrence D. 'Bo' Scott, Jr., 52, of 2607 W. Walnut Street, Johnson City died Monday, November 27, 2006 at the residence. Mr. Scott was a native and lifelong resident of Johnson City and a son of the late Lawrence Dallas Scott, Sr. and Myrtle Keller Scott of the home. Bo was retired on disability as a textile worker. Survivors other then his mother include: one daughter and son-in-law, Melissa and Andrew Smith of Knoxville; three grandchildren, Zachary Smith, Amethyst Smith and Andrew Smith all of Knoxville; three brothers, Thomas Scott of Hendersonville, TN, Robert Scott and Johnny Scott, both of Johnson City; five sisters, Sharon Elliott, Judy Jones and Kathy Scott all of Johnson City, Rita Witmer of Ohio, Susan Sheets of Jonesborough; several nieces and nephews also survive. A graveside funeral service for Lawrence D. 'Bo' Scott, Jr. will be conducted at 11 AM Saturday, December 2, 2006 at the Sheets Cemetery on the Laurels Road. Rev. Lenny Smith will officiate. The active pallbearers will be nephews. The family will receive friends at Morris-Baker from 6 to 8 PM Friday.
