Lillian Grace Davidson

Mrs. Lillian Grace Davidson, age 86, of Johnson City, passed away January 18, 2013, in the Asbury Place, Johnson City. Mrs. Davidson was a native and lifelong resident of Johnson City. She was the daughter of the late James David Carver and Mary Naomi Waycaster Carver. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Rev. John Davidson; three brothers, Henry Carver, Harmon Carver and William 'Dee'? Carver; one sister, Mary Wilson. Mrs. Davidson worked as a CNA for the Johnson City Medical Center. She was a member of the Way of the Cross Baptist Church. Survivors include three sons, Floyd Brumit and his wife Lynn, Edward Brumit and Roger Davidson; one daughter, Barbara Davidson Cole; two brothers, Robert Carver and James Carver; three sisters, Juanita Adams, Regina Dunbar and Evelyn Hicks; six grandchildren; six great grandchildren; three great- great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. The family of Mrs. Davidson will receive friends from 5 to 7 PM Monday, January 21, 2013 in the Morris-Baker South Chapel. The funeral service will follow with Rev. Jim Chatman and Rev. Jack Maupin officiating. The graveside committal service will be conducted at 1 PM Tuesday, in the Monte Vista Memorial Park. Active pallbearers will be selected from family and friends. Ministers, family and friends are requested to meet at the funeral home by 12:30 PM Tuesday, to go in procession to the cemetery.
