Linda Ann Smith

Linda Ann Smith, 73, Johnson City, passed away Friday, June 15, 2018, at Johnson City Medical Center. Linda was born in Johnson City to the late John and Kizzie Gobble Shepard. Linda was a member of Liberty Fellowship Church. In addition to her parents, Linda was preceded in death by: her husband, Freddie Joe Smith; and one brother, Bill Watson. Survivors include: four children, Roscoe Smith and his wife Becky, Johnny Smith and his wife Deena, Lisa Wallen and her husband J.W. and Lavone Cheek and her husband Eddie; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; and one special friend, Rita Presnell. The family would like to thank the staff at JCMC, specifically ICU and 5500 wing, for their care. The family of Linda Smith will receive friends from 12 PM until 2 PM Monday, June 18, 2018, at Morris-Baker Funeral Home. The committal service will follow at 2:30 PM at Washington County Memory Gardens with Pastor Dan Foster and Pastor Tony Thompson officiating. Family and friends are asked to meet there by 2:20 PM. Pallbearers include: Roscoe Smith, Johnny Smith, Eddie Cheek, Devin Buchanan, Travis Buchanan and J.W. Wallen. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be mailed to Johnny Smith, 139 Sewanee Rd., Johnson City, TN 37601.
