Linda Diane Taylor

Linda Diane Taylor, 65 of Johnson City, died Friday, November 4, 2022 at her residence. She was a native of Mitchell County, NC. Daughter of the late Jess Willard and Kathleen Davis Buchanan.

Linda was a cashier in retail most of her career.

She was of Baptist faith.

Her hobbies were fishing and spending time with family, especially her grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, three sisters, Nina Buchanan, Donna Estepp and Lilly Greer; two brothers, Johnny and Millard Buchanan all preceded her in death.

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, Gregory Taylor, two daughters, Cindy Garland Hester and Tracy Greer; a son, Kenneth Greer; a step daughter, Jennifer Taylor Henry; four sisters, Brenda Wishon, Sheila Hall, Willie Carter and Earleen Robinson; two brothers, David and Roger Buchanan; five grandchildren; six great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be conducted on Wednesday, November 9, 2022 at 2:00 pm at Monte Vista Memorial Park. Family and friends are asked to assemble by 1:50 pm at the cemetery.
