Lucille Anderson

Lucille B. Anderson, age 80, formerly of 416 Peachtree Street, Johnson City, died Sunday, April 4, 2005, at Life Care Center of Gray. She was the daughter of the late Stacy Hensley Buckner and Levi Buckner. She was a native of Burnsville, North Carolina, but lived most of her life in Johnson City. Prior to her retirement, Mrs. Anderson had been an employee of Singer Inc. She was a member of First Christian Church. Her former husband, George Charles Anderson Sr., her eldest son, George Charles Anderson Jr., and three siblings, Helen Harmon, Mary Alice Booth and Ruth Hodges, preceded Mrs. Anderson in death. She is survived by four sons, Willard R. 'Randy' Anderson II, Timothy Mark Anderson, both of Johnson City, Joe Levi Anderson, Kingsport, and Mac Todd Anderson of Johnson City; one daughter, Lesa Anderson of Johnson City; three grandchildren, Taylor Morgan Anderson, Haley Anderson and Macey Anderson, all of Johnson City. Funeral services for Mrs. Anderson will be held Wednesday, April 6th at 7:00 PM at Morris-Baker Funeral Home South Chapel. Rev. Clint Andrews will officiate. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5 until 7 PM, Wednesday, prior to the service. Graveside services and burial will be at 11:00 AM Thursday at Monte Vista Memorial Park. Family and friends will meet at the cemetery.
