Luther Albert 'AB'? Argenbright, 79, died Sunday, May 4, 2008 at North Side Hospital. Mr. Argenbright was a native of Washington County and had lived most of his life in this area. He was a son of the late James L. and Bertha Earley Argenbright and was also preceded in death by his first wife, Jewell 'Jo'? Argenbright, an infant son, Jerry Allen Argenbright, his second wife, Helen Marie Argenbright, one brother, Floyd Argenbright and two sisters, Evelyn Graybeal and Wilma Argenbright. Mr. Argenbright was retired from CSX Railroad. He was a US Air Force veteran and a past president of the Johnson City Jaycees. Survivors include one son, Jonathan Herrmann and wife, Kimberly, Kingsport, one daughter, Debra Young, Johnson City; five grandchildren, Christopher Shawn Young and Eric Young, both of Johnson City and Jonathan Herrmann, Heather Herrmann and Emma Grace Herrmann all of Kingsport; two great grandchildren, Brandon Young and Blake Young both of Johnson City and several nieces and nephews. A funeral service for Mr. Argenbright will be conducted at 7 PM Tuesday, May 6, 2008 from the Morris-Baker Funeral Home South Chapel. Reverend Reece Harris will officiate. Graveside services will be held at 10 AM Wednesday, May 7, 2008 at Telford Cemetery, Telford, TN. Family and friends are asked to assemble at the funeral home at 9:20 AM and travel in procession to the cemetery. Grandsons and nephews will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends from 6-7 PM Tuesday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the American Heart Association, Washington County Unit, First American Center, 208 Sunset Drive, Suite 595A, Johnson City, TN 37604 or the Vanderbilt-Ingram Cancer Research Center.
