Mable H. Riddle

Mable H. Riddle, 75, 1019 Johnson Avenue, Johnson City, died Tuesday, February 13, 2007 in the Life Care Center of Gray. Mrs. Riddle was a native of Johnson City who had lived all her life in Greeneville and Johnson City. She was the daughter of the late Alf Johnson and Stella Vaughn Johnson. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her husband Barney Riddle in 2004, three sisters and two brothers. Mrs. Riddle was a homemaker. She recently attended Piney Grove Free Will Baptist Church. Survivors include: one daughter, Pamela Wilson and her husband Duncan, of Jonesborough; three grandchildren, Debi Cutlip, of Telford, Josh Hilbert, of Hendersonville, NC and Brandy Oerly, of Johnson City; two great grandchildren, Justin Hilbert, of Asheville, NC and Sara Hale, of Telford; and several nieces and nephews. The funeral service for Mable H. Riddle will be conducted at 8 PM Thursday, February 15, 2007 in the Morris-Baker South Chapel. Rev Paul Crowe and Rev. Terry Wright will officiate. The graveside service will be conducted at 1 PM Friday, February 16, 2007 in the Horse Creek Church of God Cemetery, Greeneville,Tn. Family and friends will meet at the cemetery at 12:45 PM. The family will receive friends in the funeral chapel from 6 to 8 PM Thursday prior to the service.
