Margaret Eleanor Ashworth

Margaret E. Ashworth, of 115 Peachtree Street, Johnson City, died Tuesday, February 12, 2008 at the Johnson City Medical Center. She was a native of Washington County, daughter of the late Bun and Hattie Murphy Price. Margaret was a retired employee of American Bemberg Corporation. She was a member of the Clark Street Baptist Church. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles E. Ashworth in 1991, two brothers; Frank and Roy Price, three sisters; Nellie Martin, Lillian I. Price and an infant sister. Survivors include: a daughter and son-in-law, Carolyn and Jim Roe of Johnson City; a grandson, Larry Charles LeSueur of Johnson City; Precious 'her baby'?; a brother-in-law, Ivan Ashworth of Townsend; several nieces and nephews. A funeral service is scheduled for 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 13, 2008 in the North Chapel of the Morris - Baker Funeral Home, under the direction of Rev. Nathan Jennings. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until time of service at eight. A committal service will be conducted on Thursday, February 14, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. in the Mountain Home National Cemetery. Family and friends are asked to assemble at the funeral home to leave in procession by 10:20 a.m. Pallbearers will be selected from family and friends.
