Margaret Evelyn Crawford

When the Beautiful Son arose and took Margaret E. Crawford home to be with the Lord. Margaret Evelyn Crawford, 88, of 193 Hopper Road, Johnson City, died Friday, July 28, 2006 at her residence. Mrs. Crawford was a native of Mitchell County, NC, had lived in Valle Crusis, NC for thirteen years before coming to Johnson City. She was a daughter of the late Grady Smith and Emma Eastridge Mast. Mrs. Crawford was a homemaker and a member of the Snow Memorial Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by: her parents; her first husband, Leroy Presnell; her second husband, Cash Crawford; one son, Edgar Lee Presnell; two brothers, Dale Mast and Milton Mast; one sister, Louise Stokes; and a special daughter-in-law, Harlot Lou Presnell. Survivors include: one sister, Iva Lee Gray of Johnson City; one brother, Burl Mast of Elizabethton; six grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; three great great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. A very special friend and sister-in-law, Ethel Emert and her special caregivers, Eddie Presnell and wife Robin , David Presnell and wife Linda. The funeral service for Margaret Evelyn Crawford will be conducted at 8 PM Sunday, July 30, 2006 in the Morris-Baker South Chapel. Rev. Robert English, Pastor of Snow Memorial, will officiate. The graveside service will be conducted at 10 AM Monday in the Monte Vista Memorial Park. Everyone will meet at the funeral home at 9:30 AM Monday to go in procession. Active pallbearers will be Grandsons. The family will receive friends in the funeral chapel from 6 to 8 PM Sunday prior to the service.
