Margaret Hazel Smith

Mrs. Margaret H. Smith, age 90, of Johnson City, passed away Tuesday, August 16, 2011 in the Lakebridge Healthcare Center. Mrs. Smith was a native and lifelong resident of Washington County. She was the daughter of the late J.W. Brockwell and Mary Jones Brockwell. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her husband, Paul H. Smith; four brothers, Jim Brockwell, Bob Brockwell, Jack Brockwell and Buster Brockwell; one sister, Alice Ross. Mrs. Smith was a homemaker and she attended the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witnesses of Johnson City. Survivors include: one daughter, Delores Heaps and her husband Bruce of Massachusetts; two sons, Donald Smith and his wife Joann of Johnson City and Phillip Lee Smith and his wife Joyce of Jonesborough; two sisters, Ruth Taylor of Johnson City and Lillian Hale of Jonesborough; several grandchildren and great grandchildren. A memorial service for Mrs. Margaret H. Smith will be conducted at 7 PM Tuesday, August 23, 2011 in the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witnesses of Johnson City. Michael Murray will officiate.
