Maria 'Susie' Brown Tittle Fraga, age 52, of 1749 Todd Drive, Johnson City, Tennessee died Thursday, January 4th, 2007 at her residence. She was a native of Johnson City, the daughter of the late Margaret Brown Tittle and the late Eugene 'Gene' J. Tittle. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. Ms. Fraga was a licensed practical nurse for 36 years and was employed by Johnson City Internal Medicine. Ms. Fraga had enjoyed the life of the Army wife for 20 years and during those years had lived in Kansas, Oklahoma, Florida, Kentucky, Ohio and Germany. She was a nurse for 36 years, was secretary for National HOSA, a volunteer for Cerebral Palsy of East Tennessee and had taught nutrition to children as Polly Pyramid. She was a fun loving person who enjoyed karaoke and had won many awards for her crazy karaoke skits. She was the oldest honorary Hooter?s girl. She loved animals, was a wonderful mom who had a big heart and whose door was always open. She is survived by one son, Shannon Jay Fraga and his fianc?, Amber Shook of the home; two sisters, Etta Ray and her husband Roger of Johnson City, Lee Hughes and her husband Allen of Erwin; a nephew, Allen Hughes, Jr. of Erwin; a dear friend that she called 'Cister', Janie Hughes-Hunt of Jonesborough; an aunt Martha Smith of Guyton, Georgia, an uncle Lacy Hughes and his wife Barbara of Springhill, Florida, an uncle Jack Constable of Johnson City, an aunt Joan Brown of Johnson City, an uncle Bill Brown and his wife Lynda of Piney Flats and numerous cousins. Funeral services for Ms. Fraga will be held Saturday at 8:00 PM, January 6th, 2007 at Morris-Baker Funeral Home South Chapel. Rev. Jim Chapman will officiate, Chaplain Matthew Barber will assist. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday from 6:00 until 8:00 PM.
