Mark Anthony 'Marky'? Rhodes, 26, of 426 S. Broadway, Johnson City died Wednesday, March 5, 2008 at the residence. 'Marky'? was a native and lifelong resident of Johnson City and a son of Donna Salts Rhodes of the home and the late Ernest M. Rhodes. 'Marky'? was a musician and had played the drums with these bands, 'Maddas, 'Eternal Chaos'?, and 'Stitch AD8'? He was baptized at Lynnwood Church of Christ and attended the Lighthouse for Jesus. Survivors include: his mother; a son, Marky Glenn Rhodes of Johnson City; two brothers, Aaron Rhodes and Christopher Rhodes, both of Johnson City; his Maternal grandparents, Bob and Audrey Salts of Johnson City; several aunts and uncles; many musician friends and other friends. A graveside funeral service for Mark A. 'Marky'? Rhodes will be conducted at 2:30 PM Tuesday, March 11, 2008 in the Oak Hill Cemetery in Johnson City. Rev. Bill Younce will officiate. Active pallbearers will be Joshua Pike, Tim Saults, Chris Garland, Boshear Lenoir, Chris Ricker and Mayo. 'Marky'? will be taken to 3207 West Market Street, Johnson City on Monday afternoon where friends may visit from 4 PM Monday till 12 Noon on Tuesday. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the family or to Joshua Pike.
