Martha Eileen Carver

November 17, 1919 — September 10, 2006

M. Eileen Carver, 86, formerly of Colonial Hill Health Care Center, Johnson City died Sunday, September 10,2006 in the Johnson City Medical Center. Mrs. Carver was a native and lifelong resident of Washington County and a daughter of the late Robert Tayler and Dora Belle Nichols Weaver. She was a retired Sewing machine operator at Dinese Lingerie. She was a member of the Pleasant Beach Baptist Church. Mrs. Carver in preceded in death by: her parents; her husband, Arlen Carver; a grandson, Billy Arlen Carver; three brothers, Frank Weaver, George Arthur Weaver and Robert A. Weaver. Survivors include: two sons, Tom Carver, and his wife Lois, of Kingsport, and Jerry Lee Carver, and his wife Linda, of Gray; one sister, Geneva C. Vines, of Johnson City; five grandchildren, Dean, and wife April, Carver, of Kennett, PA, Todd, and wife Jackie, Carver, of Partlove, VA., Vicki, and husband Chuck, Pecktol, of Kingsport, Jeff, and wife Sherri, Carver, of Jonesborough, and Kevin Carver, and fianc? Mary Crow, both of Gray; five great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. The funeral service for M. Eileen Carver will be conducted at 8:30PM Wednesday September 13, 2006 in the Morris-Baker South Chapel. Pastor Bobby Stout will officiate. The graveside service will be conducted at 11 AM Thursday in the Monte Vista Memorial Park. Everyone will meet at the funeral home at 10:30 AM to go in procession. Honorary pallbearers will be Grandsons and Great Grandsons. The family will receive friends at Morris-Baker on Wednesday from 6:30 to 8:30 PM prior to the service.
